Janie M. Bodman, O. D.

Janie M. Bodman, O. D. is a primary eye physician with a doctorate in Optometric Medicine from the Southern California College of Optometry at Fullerton. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in biopsychology from the University of California at Santa Barbara. She is VISX certified to assist on all laser vision correction procedures and has been in practice with Morris Eye Group since 1995.

Dr. Bodman is well known throughout the North San Diego County community for her expertise in treating eye diseases as well as for her specialty in fitting contact lenses and glasses. Her caring manner and professional approach to quality vision care has earned her the highest respect among her patients and peers. Dr. Bodman is a member of the American Optometric Association (AOA).

Dr. Bodman is a native of Carlsbad where she resides with her life-long sweetheart and now husband, Eric, and her two children. When not caring for patients she enjoys snow skiing, water skiing, and spending time with her family- mainly cheering for her kids on the sidelines of the baseball field, football field, and basketball court.
