Ilya Volk, O.D.

Dr. Ilya N. Volk is a comprehensive optometric physician with a special passion for treatment of ocular disease, post-operative ocular surgical care, and the fitting of soft and specialty contact lenses. Born in St. Petersburg, Russia, he emigrated to the U.S. in the early 2000s to Wisconsin, where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree with Magna Cum Laude honors at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside. He later received his Doctor of Optometry degree at Western University of Health Sciences in California, graduating top 5% in his class with Beta Sigma Kappa honors.
His clinical externships at WesternU included the University Hospitals in Cleveland, Tulsa VA, Wellish Vision Institute in Las Vegas, and Vanesian Eye Care in Phelan. Dr. Volk has engaged in medical research, and his experience with specialty contact lenses has been recognized at the annual Global Specialty Lens Symposium in 2018. He is a current member of the American Optometric Association and the California Optometric Association.
During his free time, Dr. Volk enjoys traveling and going to the beach with his girlfriend, playing drums and producing music, as well as swimming and playing basketball. He is a proud uncle to two nieces and is known to be an avid James Bond and Green Bay Packers fan.
